OMbu Tree
The Ombu can be found in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. It does not need much water to grow and survive. The trees are widely spread because the limited amount of water. The Ombu often has multiple trunks and is the only tree for miles.
Its sap is poisonous so cattle can't graze around this tree. The trees trunk is fireproof so the rapid fires cant affect this tree. The droughts are the reason for this tree developing unique characteristics.
