Geoffroy's Cat
Geoffroy’s cats are one of the smallest wildcats on earth. Their weight range is from 4-8 lbs. Other names for the Geoffroy's cat are Geoffroy's ocelot and gato montes (mountain cat). They are nocturnal and excellent at adapting to the ever-changing environment. For their meals they mostly eat small rodents and birds. The Geoffroy's cat has few predators in the wild. Their main threat is humans. They are hunted for their beautiful coats. Humans also ruin and negatively impact the Geoffroy's habitat. They are very good at hiding in their surroundings and often look camouflage with their habitat.
